Tata Harrier EV Front Stealth Edition

Tata Motors has had a variety of model showcases at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Amongst the packed lineup, the brand has launched the Stealth Editions for Harrier EV and Safari ICE. These editions appear to be cosmetic and offer buyers a darker flavour to their SUVs.

Tata Safari

The Tata Safari gets a matte black exterior and interior as part of the Stealth Edition. The front gets a blacked-out grille which adds to the aggressive look of the SUV. There are also blacked-out ORVMs and roof rails. However, the best way to tell that a Safari is a Stealth Edition would be to glance at the front fenders where you can find “Stealth” written prominently.

The interiors also get full black treatment to signify the model’s stealthy nature. The dashboard design remains unchanged and sports a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 10.25-inch driver multi-information display. In addition to it, the Safari gets panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging and black upholstery with “Stealth” stitched on the front headrests.

The safety features also remain unchanged with the Safari getting 7 Airbags, 360 Degree Camera and Level 2 ADAS. There are also no mechanical changes to the Safari Stealth Edition. It is powered by the same 2.0-litre Kryotech Diesel making 170 HP and 350 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque Converter Automatic Transmission.

Tata Harrier EV AWD

The Harrier EV is designed on the Activ.EV platform and shares it with the likes of Punch EV and Curvv EV. The Harrier EV also has the same matte black exterior and interior. There is also the same Stealth Badging on the exterior and interior. The Harrier EV Stealth Edition has a few changes such as the auxillary lights on the exterior to distinguish itself from the normal EV version of the Harrier.

The exact launch date hasn’t been detailed but it’s expected to launch in late 2025. The Harrier EV comes with AWD and gets a dual motor setup positioned on each axle! Tata Motors has also stayed silent on specifics of the Electric Motor in regards to its size but promises that it will offer 500 Nm of torque!

The Tata Safari Stealth edition will command a premium from its currently priced variant which starts from Rs. 15.49 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 26.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). The prices of the Harrier EV could start from Rs. 25 lakhs to Rs. 30 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Tata Harrier EV Stealth Edition will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta Electric and it will be interesting to see it go against a car that is based on one of the most popular SUVs in India!
