Tata has teased the new dashboard design of the Harrier which looks quite upmarket.
The much anticipated Tata Harrier is about to launch within a couple of months and more details of the SUV are getting revealed with every passing day. Tata Motors has now teased the dashboard design of the Harrier.
The video reveals quite a few details of the dashboard styling which looks quite upmarket. The dashboard has a layered design with a wood finished panel in the middle, black treatment on top and silver highlights at the bottom. The dashboard looks simple and uncluttered with this design.
The AC vents, steering wheel and the sizeable infotainment system also get some silver highlights. The touchscreen infotainment system of the Tata Harrier is an 8.8-inch screen that will be sourced from Visteon, which is the same supplier for the Range Rover Velar.
The infotainment system will get MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Tata will be offering Harman premium audio system with the Harrier having multiple speakers and a sub-woofer as well.
The Harrier will be loaded with some new tech and features that we have never seen on any Tata car yet. The interior styling was showcased with the H5X concept at the Auto Expo and a similar set up can be seen with the production version too albeit in a toned down manner.
The Tata Harrier will be powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine that will be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox initially. The production of this SUV has already begun and bookings are open across all dealerships.
