Tata Buzzard Interior Spied; To Be Launched Early 2020

Tata H7X Test Mule Exterior

The SUV is based on the ‘Tata Buzzard’ which was showcased in the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

The new 7-seater is going to get an automatic gearbox

A test mule of the H7X which is the 7-seater version of the Harrier was recently spied in wraps. However, this time around, the spy shots reveal the interior as well. Whereas for the international markets, the version gets the name of ‘Buzzard,’ it is likely to be H7X for the domestic market.

The H7X gets most of its styling cues – both inside and out, from the 5-seater version Harrier. Similarly, the same kind of ramification is what we see in the cabin.

The interior boasts the same floating touchscreen infotainment system in the centre. The system gets a piano black surround with chrome bezels. It features the identical three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. Evidently, even the whole theme is set up with ‘wooden-like’ inlays in the dashboard along with brown upholstery for the doors. The rest remains in disguise due to distortion in the picture.

While the Harrier is only available with a manual, clearly the elder sister won’t be. In the centre console, we see an automatic gearbox. It is very probable for the SUV to get the matching Fiat’s 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine which powers the Harrier. The unit produces 172.4 PS of power with 350 Nm of torque. The unit is also going to couple with a 6-speed manual.

Moreover, the H7X comes with extended overhangs to accommodate the third row of seats. It is 63 mm longer and 80 mm taller than the Harrier. Likewise, it appears to have the same set of 5-spoke alloy wheels. However, more options may be available.

The H7X is based on the ‘Tata Buzzard’ which was showcased at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The SUV is probably going to hit the Indian market in the first few months of 2020. The Harrier ranges from Rs. 12,99,000/- to Rs. 16,95,000/- (ex showroom Delhi). The H7X is expected to be priced a little on the higher side.
