The Tata Gravitas made its world debut last year at the Geneva Motor Show as the Tata Cassini. The Gravitas is the 7-seater version of the Harrier and offers more power too. The SUV features butch styling. While the front is more or less similar to the Harrier, the rear gets a grown-up design.
The Tata Gravitas is 80 mm taller and 63 mm longer than the Harrier due to the additional third-row seat. It features a similar cabin layout and comes with the same features as well. You get a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, projector headlamps, driving modes, etc. The Gravitas comes with 6-seater and 7-seater options, with the former getting captain seats in the middle row.
The Tata Gravitas comes with the same 2.0-litre MultiJet II BS6 diesel engine that also powers the Harrier, Jeep Compass and MG Hector. In comparison to the Harrier, the Gravitas is offered in a higher state of tune (172 PS, 350 Nm). It gets a 6-speed MT or an AT. While the Harrier gets a panoramic sunroof, the Gravitas gets a regular sunroof.
