Tata Curvv front looks Nexon inspired
Tata Motors has revealed official images of the production ready Curvv. It is painted in bright orange and looks quite unique with its coupe inspired design, which will be the first body style in this segment.
The front profile looks very similar to the Nexon facelift but gets subtle tweaks to differentiate the two products. It comes with a new grille design with revised detailing that looks more premium. The bumper design is more muscular and also features similar detailing on the apron. It gets main headlights and the fog lamps integrated onto the bumper while the sleek DRLs strip runs across the grille.
The ground clearance looks huge as the car looks tall. Bold wheel arches with black cladding running across the lower half of the body further accentuate the rugged look. The alloy wheels on this concept look very fancy, we hope this makes it to the production version as well.
The side profile gets a chrome outline on the shoulder line that rises up towards the end. Another thing to notice is the flush-type door handles, which will be seen for the first time in a Tata Motors car. The roofline slopes down towards the back seamlessly into the boot. The rear three quarters might remind you about Lamborghini’s design language to some extent with the sleek tail lights and the cuts and creases at the rear.
The interior is likely to be the same as the Nexon but with different upholstery colour scheme and minor changes. We might see some new features on offer since this will be positioned as a premium over the Nexon.
Engine options will be the same as the Nexon – 1.5-litre diesel and 1.2-litre turbo petrol. They might add a CNG option soon and a pure electric version as well. The car is expected to launch by the festive season this year.
