Tata Curvv EV spotted in a video without camouflage, flaunts sequential indicators

One of the most anticipated cars for this year is the Tata Curvv after the Mahindra Roxx. Both of them are nearing their launch timelines and creating a big buzz in the auto industry. The Tata Curvv has just been spotted without any camouflage in a video, revealing the carmaker’s new design direction.

The unique SUV coupe body style definitely catches some eyeballs with its grand presence. It looks very sporty from the rear and you can notice in this spy video the sleek sequential turn indicators. It gets a split roof mounted spoiler for a sporty look, sleek LED tail lights and a muscular bumper housing the reverse lamps and reflectors with a faux skid plate down below.

On the side profile you can notice the flush door handles, which will be seen for the first time in a Tata Motors car. There is black cladding all around the lower-half of the body lending it a rugged appeal as well. The front profile might remind you of the Tata Nexon facelift, since it borrows many styling and mechanical elements from its sibling.

The interior will be featuring a new dashboard along with some segment first features on offer. Some of the features will include 12.3-inch touchscreen, fully digital driver’s display, segment-first powered tailgate with gesture function, panoramic sunroof, reclining rear seats, ventilated front seats and ADAS Level 2.

The Tata Curvv EV will feature two battery options. Higher-spec variants will come equipped with a 55kWh battery pack, while the lower-spec variants are expected to use the 40.5kWh battery from the Nexon LR. The 55kWh battery’s range details are yet to be disclosed, but it is anticipated to exceed 550 km, given the 40.5kWh battery has an ARAI-claimed range of 465km.

The ICE version of the Curvv will get a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine delivering 120 HP, new direct injection turbo petrol engine generating 125 HP and 1.5-litre diesel engine available with both manual and 7-speed DCT options.
