Tata Curvv set to get new Dark Edition, followed by Red Dark and EV variants
Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the first upgrade for its Curvv SUV Coupe, introducing a Dark Edition in 2025. Following the success of similar editions in the Nexon, Altroz, Harrier and Safari lineups, the Curvv Dark Edition will adopt the signature all-black exterior and interior theme. This special edition will be based on the top-spec trim and is expected to maintain a premium positioning.
After the Dark Edition, Tata is reportedly planning to roll out a Red Dark Edition toward the end of 2025. Additionally, an all-electric version of the Curvv is anticipated to debut shortly after the internal combustion engine variants.
Features
The top-spec Curvv will come loaded with advanced features, including Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), dual digital displays, dual-zone climate control, powered and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof and connected car technology. Engine options will include a 1.2-litre GDi turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel, both available with manual and automatic transmissions.
Recent Showcases and Future Prospects
At the Bharat Mobility Expo, the Curvv appeared alongside other Tata models like the Sierra, Harrier EV and Bandipur Editions. While the SUV didn’t capture significant attention during the event, its upcoming special editions are expected to reinvigorate interest in the model.
Tata Motors seems poised to leverage its successful formula of special editions to enhance the Curvv’s appeal, offering buyers a range of options tailored to their preferences.
