Tata Altroz facelift spotted testing in India with heavy camouflage
Tata Motors is testing the Altroz facelift which is due for its launch in 2023. The premium hatchback will get a cosmetic update along with new features.
The test mule spotted here was heavily camouflaged. While the overall styling looks similar, you can expect it to come with mild cosmetic tweaks like revised grille, headlamps and bumpers.
The interior might also gets slight visual changes in terms of colour scheme and new materials. Since the competition is coming up with new features, we can expect the Indian carmaker to add more equipment to make it more attractive in the segment.
You can expect a larger infotainment system with an updated interface, new 360 degree camera, ventilated seats among other new features.
Currently the Altroz is offered with three engine options – 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. We expect Tata to continue offering these three engine options.
The Indian carmaker showcased Altroz EV in a couple of motor shows and with their electric lineup expanding, we can also expect them to launch the electric version sometime in 2023.
The Altroz competes directly with the Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20.
