Tata Altroz CNG price revealed for all six variants
Tata Altroz CNG finally launched with a starting price of Rs. 7.55 lakhs (ex-showroom & introductory). After Tiago and Tigor, the Altroz is the third CNG car in Tata Motors’ lineup.
It is being offered in six variants – XE, XM+, XM+(S), XZ, XZ+(S) and XZ+O(S). It is available in four colour options – Opera Blue, Downtown Red, Arcade Grey and Avenue White. The CNG Altroz comes with 3 years / 100000 km as standard warranty.
For safety, the Altroz iCNG gets features like a micro-switch to keep the car switched off at the time of refuelling. Thermal incident protection cuts off CNG supply to the engine and releases gas into the atmosphere as a measure of safety.
The twin cylinders are located below the luggage area and the valves and pipes are protected under the load floor minimising the risk of potential damage. Tata Motors claim that they have enhanced rear body structure and 6 point mounting system for the CNG tanks to provide additional rear crash safety for the Altroz iCNG.
Some of the features include Voice-assisted Electric Sunroof, Wireless charger, Air purifier, projector headlamps, LED DRLs, R16 diamond cut alloy wheels, 8-speaker touchscreen infotainment system by Harman with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, leatherette seats, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, height adjustable driver seat, etc.
The Altroz CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 73.5 PS at 6000 RPM and 103 Nm torque at 3500 RPM.
