Zongshen is a Chinese motorcycle maker that has intoroduced their new bike Taro GP1-250R. The bike is available in China with a price tag of CNY 15,980 (Rs. 1.70 lakhs).
That’s quite an impressive pricing for a quarter-litre, twin-cylinder motorcycle. The bike looks very sporty and aggressive. Gets unique paint job and latest features on offer.
The front profile might remind you of Aprilia bikes and there is a hint of other superbikes as well. It comes with full-LED twin headlamps with integrated DRLs. The fairing gets sharp cuts and creases, even the fuel tank looks muscular.
There is a single side-mounted exhaust and split seat setup. It comes with clip-on handlebars. Gets full-colour all-digital instrument cluster.
Powering the Taro GP1-250R is a 249.5 cc twin-cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection. It produces 17 PS at 8500 RPM and 16.5 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a quickshifter.
It has a dry weight of 150 kg. The seat height is 780 mm while the ground clearance is 180 mm. The bike comes with a 14-litre fuel tank capacity.
It comes with double disc brakes up front and single disc brake at the rear.
The motorcycle is available in two variants – CBS and ABS. The bike maker is offering three colour options to choose from – black, red and blue.
