Suzuki Teases New Hayabusa Ahead Of 5th February Premiere

Rejoice fellow thrill seekers, for the teaser of 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa has been released just before the machine makes its global debut on 5th February.

The teaser, which runs for 25 seconds, does not give away much, but, the new Busa can be seen being tested at a high-speed bowl at speeds over 180 mph (290 km/hr) on the speedometer with about 1000 RPM left from its 11,000 RPM redline.

Unlike bikes of today, the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa retains its analogue dials, a good move, for they age well unlike modern screens. But, there is a small TFT screen sitting in the middle that provides more information.

Other than the gear indicator, the screen also shows the clock and air temperature, while the word SDMS mean multiple engine power modes will be on offer.

There is traction control and quickshifter, while other settings are obscured by the key. There will be plenty of other electronic driver aids on offer as well.

The bike does come with a new design and the new LED lights can also be seen, while the engine (still a 4-cylinder unit) will meet the latest European (and consequently Indian) emissions regulations.

To meet the new norms, the exhaust system will be all new and the engine size is said to be about 1441cc. This means power will be over the 200 HP region.

Furthermore, the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa teaser might not show it, but the speed machine looks set to feature trick new suspension system.

However, the chassis might still be a revised version of the old Busa, but expect Suzuki to work its magic and strip some weight off of the bike, while also providing ultimate balance and high-speed stability.

Mercifully, one of the fastest bikes on the planet is coming back and might as well regain its crown as the fastest factory road-going bike. Expect it to be launched in India sometime after it goes on sale overseas.
