The Swift Posh special edition has been targeted at female buyers and comes with subtle exterior upgrades, while the cabin features new upholstered seats and updated equipment list.
Making its very popular hatchback even more desirable, Suzuki Italy has launched a new special edition version of the Swift called the ‘Posh’ edition that comes with a host of special upgrades to make the model more premium than ever. Targeted at female buyers, the Swift Posh special edition has been limited to just 100 units and gets a special Amethyst metallic grey paint scheme, while exterior changes also include a new dual chrome grille as well as new two-tone 16-inch alloy wheels with mirror finish.
On the inside, the Suzuki Swift Posh special edition gets new Alcantara leather upholstered seats with contrast stitching and violet inserts. Buyers also get leather wrapped gear knob and multi-function steering wheel with violet stitching that accentuates the feminine theme further. In addition, the Posh edition comes loaded with a host of equipment like Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, start-stop system, automatic climate control, keyless entry and much more.
Coming to the mechanicals, the Italian spec Suzuki Swift comes with the same specifications as the Indian version using the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol motor producing 85 HP and 118 Nm of torque, while diesel duty is performed by the 1.3-litre DDiS unit producing 73 HP and 190 Nm of torque. Both the engines come paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, while a 4-speed automatic unit is offered on the petrol version. The new Swift Posh will set you back by a marginal premium with prices starting at 13,450 Euros (Rs. 10.45 lakhs) going up to 14,750 Euros (Rs. 11.46 lakhs).
