The Hayabusa Z edition is equipped with a performance slip-on exhaust that is priced at a premium of Rs. 25,000/- over the regular version.
Suzuki has introduced a new limited edition variant of the legendary Hayabusa called the ‘Z’ edition that comes equipped with the Yoshimura exhaust that was first showcased in the UK last year. The Hayabusa Z edition also comes with two new special dual-tone paint schemes including pearl vigor blue and pearl bracing white coupled with the metallic mystic silver shade respectively that differentiates the limited edition from regular models.
Coming to the new exhaust system, the Suzuki Hayabusa Z edition boasts of a slip-on R77J carbon end-can from Yoshimura. The exhaust system is already a popular unit among existing customers and allows the bike to have a competitive edge in terms of performance. The exhaust features a trapezoidal design allowing a large volume of packing material and in turn delivers top performance. The R-77 muffler’s front cap is MIG-welded while the end cap is riveted, using high-end 304-L polished stainless steel rivets and bands.
In terms of power, the same 1340cc engine on the Suzuki Hayabusa is tuned to produce 197 PS and 155 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed transmission. The Hayabusa Z limited edition model comes at a premium of just Rs. 25,000/- over the stock model and as part of the offer, customers will receive special gifts from Suzuki including a 1:48 scale model of the legendary Hayabusa X1 and a racing calendar acknowledging the biker’s passion. The motorcycle is priced at Rs. 16.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
