Suzuki Hayabusa special edition launched to celebrate 25th anniversary
Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 17.70 lakhs (ex-showroom). It comes with several visual enhancements, setting it apart from the standard model.
One of the most striking features of this special edition is its dual-tone paint scheme, combining orange and black hues. Additionally, it sports gold-anodised finishes on the drive chain adjuster rotor and the internal part of the front brake disk, adding a touch of exclusivity.
The celebratory mood is further accentuated by a distinct 25th Anniversary logo etched on the muffler and a new 3D Suzuki emblem adorning the tank. Furthermore, the motorcycle comes standard with a single-seat cowling, enhancing its sleek and sporty profile.
Underneath its eye-catching exterior, the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition retains the powerful 1340cc, in-line four, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DOHC engine producing 190 HP and 150 Nm of torque. The bike is paired with a 6-speed transmission equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter.
In terms of pricing, the special edition commands a premium of Rs. 80,000/- over the standard variant, which is priced at Rs. 16.90 lakhs (ex-showroom). While the Hayabusa doesn’t have any direct rivals in the Indian market, its pricing puts it in contention with models like the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.
