Suzuki India has found its breadwinner in the Gixxer and Access.
Suzuki has updated their flagship scooter Access 125 and also their highest selling bike in India, the Gixxer and Gixxer SF with BS-IV compliant engines and AHO. The bikes and scooter also get new colour schemes with this update.
The Suzuki Gixxer motorcycles get new sporty graphics with the Gixxer logo across the tank. The bike also gets clear lens LED tail lamps which enhance the appeal of the bike. The Gixxer will be available in three colours – Pearl Mira Red, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Triton Blue. These colours are available on the front and rear disc variants. The Glass Sparkle Black is also available in the basic disc and drum variant. The SF has been updated with sporty graphics and now comes in 4 colours – Pearl Mira Red, Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Mat Black and Metallic Triton Blue. The FI variant is available on all but one colour option, the Pearl Mira Red.
The Suzuki Access uses the same motor as the outgoing model but now is BS-IV compliant and it also gets AHO. The scooter is available in a new Metallic Sonic Silver colour. The existing colours still find a place in the updated lineup. The Suzuki Access is now priced at Rs. 54,302/- for the drum variant and Rs. 57,615/- for the disc brake variant. The scooter mainly competes against the Honda Activa 125 which was also updated recently with a BS-IV engine, AHO and increased torque.
The Suzuki Gixxer is priced between at Rs. 77,452/- and 80,528/- for the rear drum brake variant and the rear disc brake variant respectively. Whereas the Suzuki Gixxer SF is priced at Rs. 89,659/- and the FI variant is priced at Rs. 93,499/- (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). The Suzuki Gixxer mainly competes against the Yamaha FZ, Fazer and Honda CB Hornet 160R.
