The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 will be launched on 20th May with an expected price of Rs. 1.80 lakhs.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is a new offering from the company to rival the likes of the Pulsar RS 200, Yamaha FZ25 and the Honda CBR250R. The bike is powered by a 249cc oil cooled, single-cylinder motor that produces 26.5 PS at 9000 RPM and 22.6 Nm at 7500 RPM. The fuel-injected 4-valve SOHC motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 price is expected to be Rs. 1.80 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).
The Gixxer SF 250 has a seat height of 800 mm and has a fuel tank capacity of 12-litres. It weighs 161 kgs and is 6 kgs lighter than its rival, the Honda CBR250R. It gets dual-disc brakes and telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock setup.
It gets LED headlamp set-up, split-seats for an aggressive and sporty look and a double-barrel exhaust. Also, the rear mudguard is bolted on the swingarm. The headlight seems inspired by the unit on the GSX-R1000 and it also gets sporty clip-on handlebar. Select dealers have started accepting bookings for the bike ahead of its May 20th, 2019 launch date for Rs. 10,000/-.
