The Swift has been the best selling hatchback for Suzuki in every market where its has presence. Recently, Suzuki has announced a limited edition version of the Swift hatchback called the Swift RR for the Malaysian market. The RR edition is made by adding some extra features to the base GL variant. Sales of this limited edition variant of the Swift is expected to commence from mid-November and the automaker has limited the production to 200 units only.
Suzuki has done a slight makeover job for the exteriors of the Swift by adding front and rear bumper splitters, side body skirts and a roof spoiler. We can see two black stripes have been added to the bonnet section which extend on to the roof section and the boot lid. Racing decals have been added to the side doors. The front bumper has been blackened just below the grille which adds to the sporty character of the vehicle. The Swift also comes with 15-inch black alloy wheels.
Suzuki has added a Blaupunkt double-din touchscreen music system to the Swift RR Edition which has a GPS system integrated into it which converts into a reverse camera screen when reverse gear is engaged. The limited edition variant will not have any mechanical changes and the Swift is powered by the same 1.4-litre VVT K-Series engine which churns out a maximum power of 95 PS and gives out 130 Nm of torque. The special edition variant features a 4-speed automatic transmission.
