Suzuki has launched the updated scooter with BS6 engine and more features.
The Suzuki Access 125 with BS6 compliant engine has been launched, priced from Rs. 64,800/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). There are no visual changes on the scooter apart from the LED headlight. Rest of the scooter remains unchanged visually.
The updated BS6 compliant 124cc engine is fuel injected and produces 8.7 PS of max power output at 6750 RPM while delivering a peak torque of 10 Nm at 5500 RPM. This motor comes with a CVT automatic transmission.
The previous carburettor BS4 motor developed the same 8.7 PS of power but at a higher 7000 RPM. The torque was higher though at 10.2 Nm and was delivered at a lower 5000 RPM. No major changes in the performance here.
However, there are new features on offer with this update including Eco Assist illumination, External fuel filling lid and LED headlamp. The new Special Edition model will offer standard USB DC socket. The Suzuki Access 125 is the first Suzuki product to get updated with BS6 engine in the company’s lineup.
