Launch of the Skoda Kushaq and commencement of bookings will happen on the same day
Skoda Auto has announced that the launch of its much-awaited Kushaq compact crossover will take place on 28th June in India.
Bookings for the car, which was unveiled in March this year, will commence officially on the same day its prices are revealed, the carmaker has announced.
Details about the compact SUV, be it its dimensions, features and even engine and gearbox options, which were revealed when the veil was lifted off it, also included the number of variants the model will be offered in.

The Czech carmaker had announced that it will retail the car in ‘Active’, ‘Ambition’ and ‘Style’ trims. Thanks to leaked documents, we now know the powertrain option that will be available with each variant.
Skoda will offer its 1.0-litre TSI motor (115 PS and 175 Nm) and 6-speed manual combination in all 3 variants, while the same motor when paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox will be available in Ambition and Style trims only.
When it comes to the 1.5-litre TSI engine (150 PS and 250 Nm) option, Skoda will, irrespective of the gearbox choices of which there are 2 (6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG), only sell it in the Style variant.
Not too long after the Skoda Kushaq launch takes place, its twin, the Volkswagen Taigun will also be introduced in the market and both will rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, and the like.
