Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo edition launch on the cards
Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo edition launch confirmed by the carmaker. Skoda India is celebrating their best year in India in terms of sales. The company is about to cross 50,000 units mark by the end of this year.
The Skoda Slavia is averaging 2000 units sales every month in the country. The carmaker expects some boost in sales with the introduction of special editions.
After introducing the sporty looking Monte Carlo edition in the Kushaq, the Slavia is the next in line to get this special edition.
Skoda’s Monte Carlo edition models pay homage to the racing history of the brand. Just like the Kushaq, the Slavia will also get the special red colour along with black accents.
The sedan will get blacked out grille, ORVMs, roof and even black alloy wheels. The interior will also continue to get the same black and red theme with contrasting elements.
You can expect Skoda to offer a few more features compared to the regular variants of the Slavia. It is likely to come with a bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen unit.
The Monte Carlo edition is expected to be offered in both 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI variants. Expect it to be Rs. 50-60,000/- more expensive than the range topping Style trim.
