Skoda Slavia and Kushaq get a reduced starting price, matte edition launched
Skoda India is preparing aggressively for the upcoming festive season as the carmaker has introduced new features, revised pricing and special edition model.
The Skoda Kushaq and Slavia now get a reduced starting price for a limited period of time for the festive season. Both the cars are available with a starting price of Rs. 10.89 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Meanwhile the range topping Style variants of the Kushaq and Slavia now get new features like electric seats for the driver and co-driver and an illuminated footwell area. The electric front seats is a segment first feature.
It comes with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Also standard in the Style variants is a subwoofer in the boot of the Kushaq and Slavia. The Kushaq Monte Carlo edition will also get the electric seats and footwell illumination.
Another interesting announcement is the launch of Skoda Slavia matte edition. While the carmaker has not released any official pictures of this special edition, it is the same colour as the Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus Carbon Steel Grey Matte that was launched recently.
The matte edition Slavia will be offered with gloss black door handles and ORVMs. It will be available with both 1.0 and 1.5 TSI turbo petrol engine options. The special edition also offers a choice between a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and 7-speed DSG.
Skoda is expecting to spin out more volumes this festive season with the reduced pricing, additional features in the Style variants and the introduction of this matte edition.
