The Skoda Slavia interior sketch shows unique design elements in the car’s cabin
Skoda Auto has released the interior sketch of the Slavia C-segment sedan which will make its debut come 18th November.
The Czech brand has been disclosing details about its new entry-level sedan of late. It had revealed the car’s dimensions and engine options in October.
Whereas, this time last week, the brand published the official exterior design sketches of the Slavia in order to keep the hype up and now comes the car’s interior sketch.
The cabin design of the Slavia is fresh and premium. Skoda says the car is “generously sized” and that it has “distinctive design elements” inside.
Stepping inside, one would immediately take note of the 2-spoke steering wheel with chrome scrollers. Behind the wheel sits a fairly large digital instrument cluster.
At the centre of the dual tone dash, is a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen. Skoda has even ensured to provide a hand-rest for those operating the screen.
There are circular air vents at each corner of the dashboard, while the central vents are conventional units. But, all of them feature metallic trim to feel premium.
What’s more, the Slavia also features a decorative trim strip on the dashboard in a contrasting colour which emphasises the width of the vehicle.
Other bits that can be seen in the Skoda Slavia interior design sketch include the air-con controls, storage before the gear lever, a manual handbrake, the central front arm rest and cup holders, and the front seats with contrasting stitching.
In addition, the dual tone door panels with elbow pads, window controls, sturdy door pulls, chrome door latches and big stowages in the doors are also visible.
Based on the MQB-A0-IN platform like the Kushaq, the C-segment sedan, which will replace the Rapid, will come with 2 turbo-petrol engine options, 3 gearbox choices and a whole host of safety equipment.
