2024 Skoda Slavia Facelift Spotted

Skoda Slavia facelift spotted testing for the first time, to get new features

The Skoda Slavia is set to receive a significant update with its mid-cycle update. Recently, the 2025 Skoda Slavia facelift was spotted in Pune. The test mule has heavy camouflage that hints at several enhancements while maintaining the distinctive Skoda design.

The spy shots reveal that the Slavia’s rear retains its sleek C-shaped tail lights, similar to the current model. However, the rear bumper is expected to undergo minor redesigns. The side profile appears almost identical to the existing Slavia, with the same wheels now finished in a matte black shade for camouflage. True to Skoda’s style, the majority of the design updates are anticipated to be at the front, likely featuring slightly redesigned headlights, a refreshed grille and a revised front bumper.

The 2025 Slavia facelift is expected to build on its predecessor’s ethos with additional features and equipment. Currently, Skoda and Volkswagen vehicles are in need of a features overhaul to stay competitive in the market. Rival models are offering advanced features such as panoramic sunroofs, rear disc brakes, 360-degree cameras and Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), often at competitive prices. To keep up, the Slavia facelift might integrate some of these new features.

The upcoming Slavia facelift will continue to offer the same powertrain options as the current model. This includes the 1.0-litre 3-cylinder TSI turbo petrol engine producing 114 BHP and 178 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Additionally, the 1.5-litre 4-cylinder TSI EVO turbo petrol engine, producing 148 BHP and 250 Nm of torque, will be available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Volkswagen is also expected to introduce the Virtus facelift with similar changes and features soon after the Slavia update launch.

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India has recently celebrated several milestones. The company has produced 1.5 million units since the first Skoda Fabia rolled off the production line in 2009. Vehicles based on the MQB A0 IN platform, which includes the Slavia, have reached a production milestone of 3,00,000 units.
