Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI Launched, Priced From Rs. 16.19 Lakhs

The price difference between the Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI and 1.0 TSI is rather large

Skoda Auto India has launched the Slavia 1.5 TSI today with a starting asking price of Rs. 16.19 lakhs. This figure is for the manual variant, while the automatic’s price is Rs. 17.79 lakhs (the prices are ex-showroom).

Available only in the top-of-the-line Style grade, the more powerful variant of the Slavia will come powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine delivering 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque.

The motor that features active cylinder technology is teamed to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DSG. Skoda claims this model can do the 0-100 km/hr sprint in 8.8 seconds.

Riding on 16-inch alloy wheels (even the spare rim is a 16-incher), this more powerful version of the C-segment sedan comes with lots of chrome embellishment, auto LED headlights with DRLs, split LED tail lamps, anti-glare ORVM, automatic front wiper with rain sensor, among others on the outside.

Inside, the dual tone cabin features piano black and chrome interior trim, and goodies such as a digital instrument cluster, 10-inch touchscreen, auto-dimming IRVM, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, MySkoda Connect, 380 W, 8-speaker sound system, electric sunroof, rear-view camera, start-stop function, and more.

For the price, the Slavia 1.5 TSI also comes with ample safety features including 6 airbags as standard along with systems such as TCS, EBD, ESC, EDL, HHC, TPMS, and the like.
