Skoda Octavia facelift to get minor design tweaks, world premiere on 14th February
Skoda Octavia facelift design sketched revealed ahead of its global debut, which is scheduled to take place on 14th February. The updated sedan will get mild cosmetic changes along with some new features on offer. India launch is expected later this year in limited numbers.
The front profile will get new LED Matrix beam headlights along with a new revised grille which looks larger than the one seen on its predecessor. The bumpers will get updated for a sharper look. The rear profile too will come with mild tweaks and updated tail lights.
Overall, the updated sedan follows the new design language that can be seen on the new generation Skoda Superb and Kodiaq. The Czech brand will offer it in both the body styles – combi and notchback. We can expect new colours on offer with the facelifted model.
The interior has not been teased yet but we expect similar layout with slight changes like the updated infotainment display and the virtual cockpit with the latest UI. You can expect more features as well that will trickle down from the newly launched Superb and Kodiaq.
Skoda has confirmed that it will be available in both Sportline and RS variants. The updated sedan will continue with the same diesel, petrol and hybrid engine options in the international market. We expect India to get the petrol engine option.
