Skoda India is about to launch the Octavia Black Edition in January 2017 to keep the model fresh in the lineup with the special edition.
The Skoda Octavia has got its mid-life facelift globally that was revealed a few days ago. However, the updated Czech sedan will take a while to hit the Indian shores. For the meantime, Skoda will be launching the special edition model Octavia Black Edition in January 2017 in the Indian market.
The Skoda Octavia Black Edition will come with blacked out elements including black roof, 17-inch Teron black alloy wheels, black ORVMs, black trunk lid spoiler, black grille frame and a few more details. The interiors will also get blacked out seats that lend a sporty feel to the cabin of the Octavia.
The Black Edition will be available with both black and white colour options. The black colour will look even darker with these details while the white shade looks more appealing with the contrasting black panels. There are no mechanical changes and feature updates in the Skoda Octavia Black Edition.
Powering the new special edition will be the same petrol and diesel engine options with manual and DSG automatic transmissions. Skoda recently launched the Rapid facelift and are all set to launch the special edition in a few months. They are also expected to launch the performance oriented Octavia vRS next year in India.
