After the assembly of Skoda Kodiaq facelift begins in India, deliveries will start early in 2022
Skoda Auto India will commence the assembly of the Kodiaq facelift here in December, the company’s Brand Director, Zac Hollis, has revealed.
Hollis also stated that deliveries of the SUV will commence early next year. He was responding to a Twitter user’s query.
Revealed globally in April, the premium SUV’s SportLine model was spied this July in India (read article here). It comes with a restyled front end with the bonnet, grille, bumper and LED headlamps all revised.
Similarly, the rear section of the Kodiaq facelift has also been tweaked a bit. There are sleek LED tail lamps, a smaller windscreen and a new spoiler in the back. In addition, the wheels are different too.
Inside, the premium SUV will feature a modern cabin with 2 digital displays (10.25-inch instrument cluster and touchscreen up to 9.2 inches in size), ambient lighting, smartphone connectivity, comfortable seats and premium upholstery.
A 190 PS 2.0-litre turbo petrol motor teamed to a 7-speed DSG will power the car which will come with all-wheel-drive. Expect Skoda to ask around Rs. 35 lakhs (ex-showroom) for it.
