Skoda Kliq Front Leaked

The Czech carmaker is betting big on their upcoming compact SUV. It was showcased as Skoda Vision IN concept during Auto Expo 2020. It is likely to be called as Kliq. Skoda Kliq patent images leaked recently giving a clear look of the exterior.

The compact SUV is based on the MQB A0 IN platform. The car measures 4256 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2671 mm. It is expected to hit the showrooms by mid-2021.

The Skoda Kliq looks quite muscular with rugged front bumper and bonnet with strong lines. Gets sleek headlights and tail lights. There is body cladding around the car accentuating the rugged appeal. There is a hint of Kodiaq DNA in the design which looks premium.

The production version will look similar to the patent images but the wheels will be smaller and a few more details will get toned down. The interior will get all-digital Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster. There will be a large touchscreen infotainment system.

As shown in the concept, you can also expect a huge panoramic sunroof with the Kliq. It will be offered with a 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol engine producing 150 PS and 250 Nm. To come with 6-speed manual and 7-speed automatic DSG transmission options.

The Skoda Kliq will get high localisation in India to keep the pricing aggressive. It will compete agains the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and the upcoming VW Taigun.
