Skoda Epiq will be the brand’s entry-level EV, global debut in 2025

Skoda Epiq EV concept was showcased recently as the brand’s upcoming entry-level electric vehicle. The concept had some swanky futuristic styling details that were far from reality. Here is the rendering of the production version model that will go on sale globally from 2025.

The Skoda Epiq will get the latest design language of the Czech brand having the prominent lines on the bonnet that lead to the Skoda lettering logo on the nose. It will get a blacked out blank EV grille that integrates the LED DRLs. The front bumper will house the main headlights, which is the latest trend in the industry.

The side profile will get door-mounted ORVMs, fresh set of alloy wheels, flushed out door handles and a sharp shoulder line running across the width of the car. The rear profile will get sleek tail lights and modern design elements to make it look fresh.

Skoda has revealed some details of the Epiq which includes 4.1 meters length, wheelbase of around 2600 mm and 490 litres of boot space.

The Epiq is expected to feature a battery pack ranging from 38kWh to 56kWh, offering a driving range of approximately 400 km on a single charge. It will be a front-wheel-drive model, powered by a single motor placed on the front axle. It will come with bi-directional charging capability as well.

Interior will also get a minimalistic design, housing a large touchscreen infotainment system in the centre with the latest Skoda UI along with an all-digital instrument cluster. The dashboard design will get a straightforward look that adds to the classy touch of Skoda interior. The carmaker will use recycled materials in the upholstery and interior trim to promote sustainability.

Skoda is expected to launch the Epiq in the Indian market soon after its global debut in 2025. What are your thoughts on this EV? Let us know in the comments section.
