Used cars will go through a thorough inspection process and where necessary will be repaired

Skoda Auto India has launched its “Certified Pre-Owned” programme in India and operations have commenced at nine strategic centres including Delhi (NCR), Mumbai and Hyderabad at present.

Nationwide rollout of the programme will take place over the next 12 months as part of the firm’s “India 2.0” project.

Cars sold under Skoda Certified Pre-Owned programme will come with a warranty of up to 24 months or 1.50 lakh km (whichever is earlier). Also, cars from other makers that are traded in by customers when buying a new Skoda product will also be restored and sold with warranty.

The Czech marque says it employs professionals to comprehensively inspect the used vehicles and restore them using genuine parts and accessories. Also, a proprietary web platform has also been launched as part of the contactless service extension.

Pre-owned Skoda car owners will get finance schemes, insurance, complimentary transfer of ownership, access to complete service history, mileage assurance certificate and can even opt for emergency roadside assistance.
