Single Day F1 Tickets Make Indian GP Affordable

For all F1 enthusiasts in the country, gear up, for the world’s most premier racing event is almost here. The 2012 Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix will be held at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) from October 26 – October 28, 2012. Jaypee Sports International Limited (JPSI), has announced the ticket rates for all categories for the three day event as season tickets and single day race tickets. The second edition of the F1 Grand Prix in India can be enjoyed by the motorsport followers for as low as Rs. 2000 for the Sunday race. The organizing body, JPSI had recently revised the tickets rates to ensure more F1 enthusiasts get a chance to experience the adrenaline rush of motor racing and introduced special deals for all categories.

To be as close to the grid lane and the pit stop, fans will have to spend Rs. 12,000/- for the Sunday race event for the main Grandstand. The main Grandstand is the ultimate place to witness the best of action the races have to offer. The three day season ticket for the main Grandstand can be bought for Rs. 21,000/-. The Premium stand season tickets will be sold for Rs. 10,000/- and the race day tickets are available for Rs. 7500/-. The least one will have to spend is Rs.3000/- for the season ticket from the Picnic/Natural stand and just Rs. 2000/- for the race event. Park and Walk is available in 1:1 ratio where one parking can be bought per ticket. The three day event schedule is as follows.

26th October 2012 Friday – Practice 1 – 10:00 to 11:30, Practice 2 – 14:00 to 15:30

27th October 2012 Saturday – Practice 3 – 11:00 to 12:00, Qualifying – 14:00

28th October 2012 Sunday – Race : 15:00

The tickets can be booked through www.bookmyshow.com. The same are also available in select outlets in key metros since 5th October, 2012. Jaypee Sports International Limited had successfully organized India’s first ever F1 Grand Prix earlier in October 2011. Its parent company, Jaiprakash Associates Ltd has constructed the Buddh International Circuit, India’s proud contribution to the F1 sport.
