Royal Touch To Launch Vista 150cc Scooter, Priced At Rs. 75,990/-

The Royal Touch Vista scooter boasts off massive road presence similar to the Honda PCX150 and Hero Zir concept and even gets radio with 2 speakers as part of the package.

New two-wheeler company Royal Touch Motors based in Aurangabad has tied up with ZNEN from China and will soon retail a plethora of scooters and motorcycles sourced from its Chinese partner. While the Storm 125cc cruiser will be one of the offerings, the manufacturer will also introduce the Vista 150cc scooter in the country. The products could most likely be officially introduced at the 2016 Auto Expo in February next year.

The Royal Touch Vista is a power scooter along the lines of the Honda PCX150, Hero Zir concept and Yamaha’s XMAX and TMAX models sold in Europe. The scooter has massive presence with the bug-like twin headlamps with LED DRLs, tall windscreen, step-up seat, alloy wheels and fat tyres. The power scooter gets storage space below the handlebars and also boasts of a radio with two speakers.

In terms of mechanicals, the Royal Touch Vista uses a 148.6cc single-cylinder engine that is tuned to produce 9.6 PS at 7000 RPM and 9.6 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The top speed is rated at 90 km/hr. The scooter measures a healthy 2190 mm in length, 755 mm in width and 1140 mm in height with telescopic forks at the front and a disc and drum brake setup for stopping power. The ground clearance stands at 125 mm.

Apart from the Vista, the Royal Touch lineup comprises of four more scooters including the Aurora, Legend 125cc and Revival 50cc scooters. The three scooters get retro styled exteriors complete with white wall tyres, curved handlebars and round as well as square headlights (akin to the Piaggio Vespa lineup). Royal Touch also has the Roar 4 power scooter as part of its lineup that is powered by a 150cc motor and priced at Rs. 63,235/- (ex-showroom, Maharashtra), it is positioned below the Vista.
