Royal Enfield has given us a hint so as to what to expect from the upcoming scrambler motorcycles.
This is the first time that the company has revealed anything about the Trials 350 and 500 officially. The new bikes will be showcased at a special event on 26th March 2019, which is when we expect the company to reveal complete details on the motorcycles. The official price might get released in the special event when the bike will be officially unveiled.
The bikes will get dual-purpose tyres, upswept exhaust, raised rear mudguard and luggage rack but the ground clearance will remain the same and the suspension won’t get more travel. The bike won’t get any mechanical changes to it and the same telescopic forks will be used at the front. There will be dual-disc brakes on offer with dual-channel ABS as standard.
The engine will remain the same 346cc single-cylinder, air-cooled that develops 19 BHP and 28 Nm of peak torque from the Classic 350. And a 499cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected motor that churns out 27 BHP and 41 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox as seen on the Classic range.
