Royal Enfield has issued a recall of 7000 Bullet and Electra models.
Royal Enfield will be recalling Bullet and Electra models that have been manufactured between 20th March and 30th April 2019. This recall is being done due to the fact that these models were fitted with faulty brake calliper bolt. Brake calliper bolt is an essential part of the braking system securing brake hose and brake calliper.
Not only the 350cc models of both the bikes will be recalled, but the 500cc bikes will also be recalled. This issue was identified when the service investigation team of Royal Enfield found out that the calliper bolt failed to meet the torque quality standards.
If the customer finds the issues in his bike, they should get in touch with the nearest Royal Enfield service centre to get the issue resolved. The company will rectify the fault free of cost for the affected models of Royal Enfield Bullet and Electra.
