Royal Enfield has laid to rest all speculations about the Meteor 350 with a teaser and announcement of the motorcycle’s launch date.
While reports have been circulating stating that the Thunderbird replacement will not hit the market until after Diwali, the bike maker has announced that it will be launched on 6th November 2020, a week prior to the festival of lights.
This announcement will also likely end news about the firm struggling with supply chain issues and will come as a welcome news to aficionados.
We have seen multiple spy shots of the motorcycle and know quite a few details about it already. Its design, while minimalist, will be updated and suit current trends.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 teaser shows the bike from the head-on angle, with the LED DRL strip in the circular headlamp illuminated.
We can also see circular indicators, off-set instrument cluster (a small one will sit alongside) and a high-set handlebar sporting circular mirrors.
Underpinned by Royal Enfield’s new “J” platform, the bike will also come with a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, split seats, alloy wheels and the quality of components is expected to be better this time around.
We can also expect the new 350cc motor powering the bike to produce more power than its predecessor did, while also being BS6-compliant. Also, expect the bike to come with a whole host of official accessories.
Expected to be priced at about Rs. 2 lakhs (ex-showroom), more details about the bike will be revealed during its launch.
