Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Spotted Undisguised Days Before Launch

The design of the motorcycle, barring the alloys, looks very good

Only days before its official launch, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has been spotted undisguised.

Based on the manufacturer’s new “J” platform, the motorcycle will be the first among a slew of launches, from the firm, which will include the next generation Classic 350 and a 650cc cruiser.

This Royal Enfield Meteor 350 spotted in a dual tone colour scheme of brown and black also sports a windscreen. Other details include a nice big tank, brown seats with pillion backrest, chrome exhaust and handlebars and alloy wheels.

Also evident is the circular theme what with the headlight, blinkers, tail lamp, instrument cluster and even the mirrors sporting the shape.

The cluster is a two pod setup, each having a digital display, but the larger one also has the speedometer (which ends at 160 km/hr) and other telltale details.

As revealed earlier, Royal Enfield will offer the Meteor 350 in three variants, namely – Fireball, Stellar and Supernova. Each will be different from one another and will get specific accessories to boot.

Of course, there will be an array of colour options to choose from and modern bits like LED DRL, ABS, Bluetooth connectivity and Tripper Navigation will be offered as standard.

Powering the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 spotted motorcycle is a newly developed 349cc air-cooled single cylinder motorcycle that is said to put out about 20.2 PS and 27 Nm.

Set to be officially launched on 6th November, the teaser campaign for which has also begun, the Meteor 350 is expected to have a starting price of around Rs. 1.70-1.85 lakhs (ex-showroom) and will rival the Honda H’ness CB350, Benelli Imperiale 400, among others.
