Royal Enfield has launched the Meteor 350 with a starting price tag of Rs. 1,75,817/- (ex-showroom, Chennai), today.
Available in three variants namely Fireball, Stellar and Supernova, the bike costs up to Rs. 1.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Chennai) for the top-spec variant. The price includes 3-year warranty plus 1-year roadside assistance (all variants).
Built on an all-new frame, the motorcycle has new components and even a new engine. The styling too is fresh with lots of elements to remind Royal Enfield models of old.
While the headlamp, indicators, tail light, mirrors and even the twin instrument pods are circular in shape, the teardrop 15-litre fuel tank along with the split seats and the backrest, all add to that cruiser look.
A nice chrome exhaust is present on the cruiser that has the classic leg-forward seating setup, high-set handlebars and a windscreen.
Features offered on the bike include the Tripper Navigation system that works with the Royal Enfield app through Bluetooth, LED DRL, LED tail lamp, USB charging port and dual-channel ABS.
Colour options are seven in total, with the Fireball and Supernova getting two shades each and while the Stellar variant comes with three paint schemes. Also, under ‘Make it Yours’ (MiY) initiative, there are eight additional colours offered.
Powering the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is a 349cc air-cooled single cylinder fuel-injected motor that puts out a maximum of 20.2 BHP at 6100 RPM and 27 Nm peak torque at 4000 RPM. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Braking duties are done by 300 mm front disc and 270 mm rear disc, while there are 41 mm telescopic forks up front with preload adjustable twin shocks at the rear. Tyres are 100/90-19 at the front and 140/70-17 at the rear.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 price is bang on target against its rivals such as the Honda H’ness CB350 and Benelli Imperiale 400 and deliveries will begin from 7th November.
