Royal Enfield has introduced 9 new colours for the 2016 line-up, of which, 4 colours are for the Classic, 3 for the Bullet, 1 for the Thunderbird and 1 for the Continental GT.
2015 was a great year for domestic sales as well as exports for Royal Enfield and it also commenced its operations in several global markets. The manufacturer has similar plans for 2016 as well and has given a kickstart to the new year by introducing nine new colours for its existing motorcycle lineup. These include four new colours for the retro Classic, three new colours for the very famous Bullet and one new colour each for their highway riders, Thunderbird and Continental GT Cafe Racer.
The new colours introduced are in addition to the existing shades and are being offered at the current prices on the respective models. All colours have already been made available at dealerships across the country. The four new colours for the Classic include ‘Chrome Green’ and ‘Chrome Grey’ for the 500cc model whereas the 350cc gets ‘Green’ and ‘Chestnut’ shades.
The Royal Enfield Bullet gets the ‘Marsh Grey’ shade on the 500cc variant. The ‘Maroon’ and ‘Blue’ shades have been given to the Bullet Electra. The Royal Enfield Continental GT now gets a new Green colour replacing the yellow while the Thunderbird has been given the ‘Asphalt’ shade. The English turned Indian manufacturer has chosen all colours keeping in mind the character of these motorcycles.
Royal Enfield manufactured its first motorcycle in the year 1901 and is currently the oldest motorcycle manufacturer in continuous production. The British brand is seeing 50 percent growth every year since the last three years. The recent years have also seen the automaker experiment with a new lineup of offerings and the company will be making its boldest move yet with the upcoming Himalayan adventure tourer scheduled for launch on 2nd February.
