As most of us already know, the Himalayan is powered by a 411cc, oil-cooled engine that produces 24.5 PS of power at 6500 RPM and 32 Nm of torque between 4000-4500 RPM, mated to a 5-speed transmission. The figures are typical Royal Enfield like, as one would expect, delivering maximum torque in the low and mid range.
Now this motorcycle is one which none of us can ignore. It is created specifically for the off-road enthusiast, but what RE also insist is that it’s no mud even on the tarmac and can easily qualify for a long distance touring vehicle.
