The arduous, adventurous, thrilling and exciting 16 day motorcycle pilgrimage called the 9th Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey, finally came to an end with the motorists reaching Delhi last Sunday. The city welcomed the brave-hearted ones and the evening was lined up with a series of events. They covered a total of 2722 kilometers from Delhi to Khardung La and back. The event took place at Turquoise Cottage in Delhi’s upscale Basant Lok complex.
The event started with an audio visual on the reminiscences of the 9th Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey. This was followed by felicitation of all the riders. As each of the rider went up on stage to receive the certificate, they recounted the last 16 days of their lives. With many new friendships, many new tales to share, the riders were joyous at their achievement. The event did not end there. One of the oldest and biggest rock bands of the country- Pentagram took the stage and enthralled the audience. The audience consisted of the Himalayan Odyssey riders, their families, the Royal Enfield team and other distinguished guests. A cocktail party added that perfect end to the event.

It covered three mountain ranges and six passes. of course medical help for the bikers and mechanical help for their machines was available 24/7. Missed out on the opportunity? Better luck next year.
