A Himalayan finished in army green colour and fitted with jerrycans both sides of the fuel tanks was seen at a dealership in Ahmedabad. Jerrycans are painted in the same army green colour, gives dazzle to a bike.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan is the latest motorcycle from the oldest Indian motorcycle maker, it is designed to run in traffic and adventure, facing both the conditions with ease. With some key features like dual purpose tyres, high ground clearance, a large 21-inch front wheel and a 14-litre fuel tank, the motorcycle can resist any road conditions.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan receives the chassis from Harris Performance making it more sustained to off-road use. With a single round headlight, an instrument panel with analogue dials and a large speedometer with readouts in m/hr and km/hr, this motorcycle is a complete touring model.
The Himalayan faced some issues in the last month, with the rocker arm and faulty clutch assembly. The company stated that the issues were not of critical nature but needed to be inspected and parts replaced. The Himalayan packs an all-new 411cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motor develops 24.5 BHP at 6500 RPM and torque of 32 Nm at 4500 RPM.
