Production-spec Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 revealed for the first time
The highly anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 has been revealed, it is set to launch in India next month, latest reveal showcases the bike in all its production-spec glory. This new iteration of the Himalayan will get significant updates and improvements in terms of styling, features and mechanicals.
One of the first things that you will notice here is the mountain graphics with a white base paint scheme. This design element adds to the adventure characteristics of the motorcycle. The bike looks more muscular than its predecessor. Gets a new beak design, curvy fuel tank, split seat setup and new modern looking muffler. Overall premium look is inspired by some ADVs belonging to big brands like BMW and Triumph.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will be powered by a new 451.65cc single-cylinder liquid cooled motor producing 39.47 BHP. The peak power output of this engine will be available at 8000 RPM. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The outgoing Himalayan produces 24.3 HP at 6500 RPM.
The new bike is longer and wider than the outgoing model and has a longer wheelbase too. It comes with LED headlight setup, LED blinkers and LED tail lights. There is a new single-pod all-digital instrument cluster that will offer multiple information regarding the bike and is expected to come with smartphone connectivity for navigation, notifications, etc.
