Royal Enfield Flying Flea & Roadster Trademarks Filed

Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X Specifications

Royal Enfield has filed two new names for trademark for their upcoming bikes.

The Flying Flea is expected to be a new model with small displacement engine

Royal Enfield is on product offensive as they plan to introduce multiple new bikes in varying segments. Their latest 650 Twins are not only popular in the domestic market, they’re quite famous internationally too.

The Indian bike maker has now filed new names for trademark – Flying Flea & Roadster. The names were filed with European Union Intellectual Property Office for use on motorcycles, parts and fittings as well as clothing items.

The new names are expected to be used for upcoming bikes from Royal Enfield. The Flying Flea is a historical nick name for the bike maker which they used for a lightweight 125cc military motorcycle. It was transported by glider and dropped by parachute for military purpose.

The RE 500 Pegasus was launched to pay tribute to the Flying Flea. We expect the bike maker to introduce a lightweight military themed motorcycle with this name having a small capacity engine.

The Roadster name could be used for the new 250cc lightweight motorcycle that was spied recently on test. The new range of Royal Enfield entry-level bikes will cater to a wider audience with easy ergonomics targeting women riders and youngsters.
