The hardcore looking Royal Enfield Continental GT ‘Dirty Duck’ Edition has been displayed at the Wheels and Waves custom bike show in Biarritz, France. The motorcycle has been prepared by Harris Performance of the U.K. for the show.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT is by any means a beautiful looking motorcycle with an iconic cafe-racer silhouette. But the folks at Harris Performance had a very different idea when they decided to use the bike as a base of their showcase vehicle for the the Wheels and Waves custom bike show in Biarritz, France. The badass looking ‘Dirty Duck’ edition is a one-off motorcycle built to give a peak in the kind of Royal Enfield bikes which we might see in a dystopian future.
The Dirty Duck Edition Continental GT is something for which Max Rocktansky would love to trade-in his Ford Falcon for. The bike might not win any beauty awards, but it is definitely equipped to traverse any kind of brutal terrain. The motorcycle gets a shortened rear frame, new Continental TKC80 block tyres, luggage rack, aluminium sump guard, seat wrapped in oiled leather, naturally rusted fuel tank, handcrafted snorkel by Harris performance and even a GoPro camera mount.
The modified Continental GT motorcycle is a unique looking concept with dual projector headlamp on a flat plate in the front and menacing looking features. The bike is mechanically designed to follow the same theme too as it gets a 535cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor with a Modified airbox and a straight through exhaust without a baffle.
The beastly cafe-racer cum off-roading profile of the bike is a marvellous creation in itself by the professional tuning house. Given how rustic and utilitarian the concept is, the vehicle can easily be replicated in India by enthusiastic modifiers.
