Updated Royal Enfield bikes get new colour options and some mild tweaks
Updated Royal Enfield bikes launched in the UK. The Indian motorcycle maker has given the Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 some new changes.
The RE Continental GT 650 gets two new colours – Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey. Both the colours have a unique appeal. The Slipstream Blue comes with an all-black theme and gets blue shade on the fuel tank. The Apex Grey has a silver tank with orange stripes on it.
The bikes come with alloy wheels, LED headlight and new switch gear which is borrowed from the new Super Meteor but in black shade. The Continental GT 650 comes with a price tag of 6799 GBP (Rs. 6.76 lakhs).
The RE Interceptor 650 on the other hand comes with new Barcelona Blue and Black Grey colour options. This bike also looks quite different with the alloy wheel setup and the new graphics along with the latest colour schemes.
It is priced at 6599 GBP (Rs. 6.56 lakhs). This one also gets alloy wheels, new LED headlight and switch gear from the Super Meteor 650.
Both the bikes continue to be powered by the same 648cc engine that produces 47 HP at 7150 RPM and 52 Nm of torque at 5250 RPM.
We expect Royal Enfield to introduce similar changes for the Indian market soon.
