Royal Enfield Classic 350 likely to come with new features and mechanical tweaks
Royal Enfield is gearing up for the launch of the 2024 Classic 350 in India, scheduled for 12th August. The new model is anticipated to maintain the signature design of its predecessor while introducing several modern features. This combination of classic aesthetics with contemporary technology continues the brand’s legacy of blending tradition with innovation.
The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is expected to feature LED lighting, including headlights, pilot lamps and tail lights, enhancing both safety and aesthetics. The model will offer multiple variants, each with distinct hardware configurations. This approach mirrors the current lineup, which provides options differing in colour, ABS configurations and braking setups.
Under the hood, the 2024 Classic 350 will likely retain the J-series 349cc, air/oil-cooled engine, delivering 20.2 BHP and 27 Nm of torque. The engine pairs with a 5-speed gearbox, promising a smooth and reliable ride. The motorcycle will continue to use telescopic front forks, dual rear shocks and a front disc brake, with options for either a rear drum or disc brake. These components are expected to be mounted on spoke wheels, preserving the bike’s retro appeal.
The introduction of new features could lead to a slight increase in price compared to the current model. The 2024 Classic 350 is projected to range from approximately Rs. 1.95 lakhs for the base model to Rs. 2.30 lakhs for the top-spec trim (ex-showroom).
