Royal Enfield announced a slew of riding gear for the Himalayan at an event where the adventure-touring motorcycle was unveiled for the first time.

Royal Enfield is experiencing the best times with the existing lineup registering all-time high numbers while the Indian automaker unveiled the most awaited Himalayan just ahead of the 2016 Auto Expo along with a range of riding gear for the adventure-touring bike.

The riding gear for the Royal Enfield Himalayan include jackets, gloves, trousers, mufflers, luggage carriers for the bike, etc. that will help you leave everything behind and just get out on an adventure with the motorcycle. All these accessories will be launched along with the bike in March 2016.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan is powered by an all-new 411cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine that produces 24.5 BHP at 6500 RPM and 32 Nm of torque at 4000-4500 RPM while mated on a 5-speed gearbox. This engine is called as the LS410 which is claimed to deliver more power and torque in the low rev range for an easy ride while climbing hills.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan is aimed at targeting an all-new audience which would never have opted for other muscular bikes in the lineup. It is a proper adventure-touring bike which can be taken on any terrain and it will perform with no problem at all, it will allow you to enjoy the ride with a longer maintenance cycle.

The newly developed LS410 engine is used for the first time in the Royal Enfield Himalayan and is a lot more stable than the previous engines with the vibrations completely gone due to the counter-balancer fitted in the motor. The adventure bike is expected to be priced at around Rs. 1.8 lakhs.
