Royal Enfield 650 Twins Limited Edition Models Created For Italian Market

The limited edition models have ditched bling for the matt black components

Limited Edition models of Royal Enfield 650 twins have been created by Valentino Motor Company, the Indian firm’s sole distributor for Italy and owner of the brand Valentino Motori.

Ten special versions have been created in total, six for Interceptor 650 and four for Continental GT 650, to celebrate five years of collaboration between the two entities.

Colours offered on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 limited edition include Matt Black, Matt Bronze and Black, Matt Military Green and Black, Matt Gray and Black, Gray and Black, and Matte Green and Black.

Continental GT 650 gets Matt Black, Matt Red and Black, Matt Gray and Black, and British Green and Black paint options.

Only five units per colour will be produced, says Valentino Motor Company, and each will have a plaque denoting that it is “One of Five” along with the Valentino Motori logo.

The two 47 HP 650cc twin-cylinder bikes have been given a good dose of matt black for almost all the components including the handlebar, levers, headlight casing and engine casing.

Further, official accessories are also fitted on the Royal Enfield 650 twins limited edition like the windscreen, fork gaiters, touring mirrors, engine protection bars, among others, while the Bybre front brake caliper is painted in red for all versions.

Customers can also opt to improve performance and handling with additional accessories like Zard slip-on exhaust, Andreani Group’s adjustable front cartridges and Ohlins rear suspension, for an additional cost.

To be available in the Italian market from December 2020, the limited editions command a premium of around €2000 (Rs. 1.73 lakhs) over the base price of the models which starts at €6300 (Rs. 5.45 lakhs) for the Interceptor 650 and €6500 for the Continental GT 650 (Rs. 5.63 lakhs).
