Royal Enfield 650 twins accessories list out, promises 40 accessories.
The Royal Enfield Mania event is one of the most awaited annually held events of the year. It is a platform for the traditional Indian bike lover to get starry-eyed over the latest launches of the Indian bike maker. And this year, the wait has been for the 650 twins, which were set to be launched in Goa. Royal Enfield has released a list containing 40 Royal Enfield 650 twins accessories.
While 32 of these accessories are common to both models, the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, 8 will be model specific. The differences in design can be the reason for this. The Interceptor 650 is a roadster meant for the classic relaxed ride in the sun. The Continental GT 650 is modeled after a café racer with an aggressive posture meant to give you the thrill of racing in your favourite streets.
Both bikes feature the same parts like the chassis, headlights, suspension, brakes and wheels. Both bikes are powered by the same 649cc single cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine. The 8-valve, fuel-injected engine has the capacity to deliver a power of 47 BHP at 7100 RPM and can generate a peak torque of 52 Nm at 5250 RPM. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.
While the number of accessories has been revealed, an extensive list has yet to be released. The common accessories include Swingarm Bobbins, front disc reservoir caps, a fork gaiter kit, engine sump guard, large engine guard, small engine guard, compact engine guard, saddle stay kit and bar end caps.
The accessories specific to the Interceptor 650 are the touring mirror kit, a bigger fly screen kit, touring handlebar kit, mirror extender kit and a handlebar brace pad.
Accessories available only to the Continental GT 650 are single seat rider conversion, touring dual seat kit, bar-end mirror kit, short visor kit.
