Road-Testing Of 2022 Hyundai Creta Facelift Continues

The front profile of the car will look very different

Hyundai is expected to launch the Creta facelift in India by 2022

The Hyundai Creta facelift, likely to be launched in 2022, has been spied recently in Indonesia as the carmaker continues road-testing the model.

Although the fully camouflaged pre-production test mule spotted in Indonesia does not give away much, thanks to a model seen earlier in Korea (see above image) does reveal how the refreshed Creta will look like.

For 2022, the Creta will feature a revised radiator grille and DRL setup inspired by the new generation Tucson. The front bumper will also be tweaked accordingly, and all these changes should lend the car a more striking ‘face’.

It should come with new alloy wheels

Although the side profile of the recently spied 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift seems identical to the current model, there should be new alloy wheels on offer with the car when it gets introduced.

Nothing can be said about the revisions made to the rear profile of the compact SUV, for it is completely covered. But, if Hyundai had listened to customer feedback, it would know that many hope to see a more simplified rear lighting unit on the vehicle.

As far as interiors are concerned, Hyundai could offer a different upholstery this time around, while the addition of more features is a given.

The rear profile of the car could be drastically revised too

In India, Hyundai will launch the second-generation Creta facelift in 2022 with the same powertrain options as offered now on the pre-facelift car.

Currently, the Creta is priced between Rs. 10 lakhs and Rs. 17.71 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and the facelifted model should cost a bit more.
